most people have heard of the Enormego "EGO" theme for Xcode. it's pretty popular. I installed it and liked it, but I always have to expand code editor themes to make them my own.
so here is my variation of the EGO theme. I call it the OrangeBeard theme.
to install, launch Terminal.app and paste the code below...
mkdir -p ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/UserData/FontAndColorThemes; cd ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/UserData/FontAndColorThemes; curl -O http://stuff.orangebeard.com/OrangeBeardtheme/orangebeard.dvtcolortheme
If you are doing Android development in Eclipse, and you hate seeing that boring Eclipse icon in your dock, here is a simple icon replacement swap.
so the company I work for just moved our whole software development team to the 2nd floor. we used to be in the very back of the building on the 1st floor. out of site from everyone. we are much more visible now which can be good and bad. the best part for me (and my friend Anthony) is that we get to share an executive office together. complete with bean bags, toys, our macs, and WINDOWS!!! and yes that is a cardboard cutout of Darth Vader, which just so happens to look out into our CEO's office. I just want him to make sure he knows who is really in charge...
a new taco truck (Speedy Gonzales Tacos) just opened up a 1/4 mile from my place of employment. very good!
here is Ryan and Daryl waiting on their food.
do not play Game Dev Story unless you want to lose 2-6 hours at a time. my friend Matt, told me about this game and then I told 4 friends about it and then they immediately got addicted to it too.
